Chelmsford Motorcyclist Airlifted To Hospital After Memorial Day Weekend Crash

A 31-year-old motorcyclist is in critical condition after being involved in a crash in Chelmsford over Memorial Day weekend, according to authorities.

Police responded to the crash near the intersection of Princeton Street and Richardson Road around 10:41 a.m. on Sunday, May 28, Chelmsford Police Chief James M. Spinney reports. 

Upon arrival, officers found the male motorcyclist laying on the ground. He was treated on scene before being airlifted to Lahey Hospital & Medical Center, Spinney said.

The driver of the other vehicle involved, a 76-year-old male, was taken to an area hospital where he was treated and released. So far no citations or charges have been filed, Spinney said.
